Mr. Prince is a partner and general counsel for Carrington Coleman. He is also responsible for the Firm's ethics training and CLE. Mr. Prince's practice involves a broad range of business litigation matters. Some of the more prominent areas are defense of legal malpractice and other professional liability claims, defense of environmental claims, such as ground and water pollution claims (including prevailing on an issue of first impression under the Oil Pollution Act); mass toxic tort cases, and insurance coverage litigation relating to environmental liability; and products liability defense, including aircraft crash litigation. Mr. Prince also has extensive experience in contract disputes; the defense of officers and directors in fiduciary duty cases; shareholder derivative suits; litigation of environmental and other insurance coverage questions; lender liability and bank litigation; representation of employers in a variety of employment disputes; protection of trade secrets for a variety of high technology companies; and employment-related embezzlement cases. Mr. Prince is a retired Captain in the United States Naval Reserve. He was a member of the Administration of the Rules of Evidence Committee of the State Bar of Texas from 1990-2006, having served as its Chairman in 1995-1996. Mr. Prince was admitted to practice in Texas in 1978 and in Georgia in 1977. |
