Michael O'Flannigan is a member of our litigation department. Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Michael clerked for Judge Carlos T. Bea of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco. In this capacity, he researched and assisted in drafting opinions, prepared cases for oral argument, and advised on petitions for rehearing en banc.Michael has also worked as an attorney on an array of issues ranging from municipal election challenges to complex commercial litigation. His other experience includes serving as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, a law clerk for the Honorable Clarence A. Brimmer in federal district court in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and a summer intern for the U.S. Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division in Seattle, Washington.Michael received his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie, Wyoming. He is a member of the state bar in California and Colorado, as well as the bar of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. |
