Mr. Michael O'Dell currently serves as the Director of Mission Assurance Solutions for Nortel Government Solutions, a network-centric integrator headquartered in Fairfax, VA. As a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), he manages all Continuity of Operations Mission Assurance solutions for the six operating divisions in support of their government clients.
Mr. O'Dell has over 25 years of experience assisting both military and civilian agencies plan for and mitigate risk; specifically with continuity of operations plans and resources planning. Mr. O'Dell is adept at understanding his clients concerns and building consensus among stakeholders to ensure client objectives are met. His extensive background in emergency preparedness, risk planning, operational tempo planning, and quality assurance, allows Mr. O'Dell to rapidly assess areas where planning is critical, provide frameworks for successful implementation, and then close the loop by providing assurance that mission readiness is maintained. Mr. O'Dell has extensive experience in presenting formal instruction, developing programs of instruction and training support packages, and in implementing training and domestic preparedness programs. Mr. O'Dell is a Panel Member of the American Association Standing Committee on Law and National Security and Homeland Security Defense Counsel. |
