As President and CEO, Michael has grown Leade Health into a nationally recognized disease prevention company since he founded the firm in 1990. Michael has extensive experience in both consulting and business management, through the formation and growth of Leade Health and years of experience consulting on projects for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Michael has a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, English and Philosophy, also from the University of Michigan. Michael’s early clinical training was received in Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult and Adolescent Addictionology, and Behavior Change in complex family systems. He is a member and past president of the American College of Sports Medicine (for Region IV), the Institute for Health and Productivity Management, WELCOA, the National Association of Social Workers, the Employee Assistance Professional Association, and the Health Enhancement Research Organization. Michael has authored several articles and has presented at numerous EAP and Health Promotion conferences. |
