Mr. Maroto brings both a legal and business perspective to financial transactions. Mr. Maroto is involved in almost all of the firm’s engagements due to his solid understanding of financial, legal and tax issues germane to privately held companies in the middle market. Throughout his entire career, he has specialized in merger and acquisition related activities, including strategy, acquisition analysis, buyer identification and selection, transaction structuring, due diligence, and post-acquisition analysis and implementation. Education & Accreditation Mr. Maroto earned a B.A. degree from Hampden-Sydney College, and subsequently received a J.D. degree, with distinction, and a M.B.A. from the Delaware School of Law, Widener University and the Widener Business School, respectively. Currently, Mr. Maroto is a member of the United States District Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is also a registered agent of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Work Experience Prior to joining CrossKeys Capital, Mr. Maroto was with Wachovia Securities' Corporate and Investment Banking Group for five years where he focused exclusively on M&A and growth capital raises involving privately-held companies. This followed two years with Asinvest, SA, a European investment banking group where he focused on international cross-border transactions and international corporate development. |
