Michael Lousias is an urban forester with Davey Resource Group. Mr. Lousias conducts computerized tree inventory projects for municipalities, parks, golf courses, cemeteries, and other public properties. He has experience with pen-based GIS data collection units and handheld field computers. He has served as an inventory urban forester on several tree inventories across the country. Prior to joining Davey Resource Group, Mr. Lousias’ past work experience has included working as a Landscape Maintenance and Construction Superintendent in Florida, a Golf Course Construction and Maintenance Superintendent in Michigan and California, as well as Large Tree Moving Operations Superintendent and Consultant in Florida with Valley Crest companies. He is a Class A Golf Course Superintendent and a State of Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicator Trainer. He has also worked as a Utility Arborist in North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Mr. Lousias is a Certified Arborist (S0-0909A) through the International Society of Arboriculture. Mr. Lousias has Associate degrees in Art and Science from Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan, and is a graduate of Michigan State University with a certificate in Landscape and Nursery Management. |
