Emphasis: Head of the firm's business valuation practice; auditing commercial entities, real estate ventures, not-for-profit organizations, single and multi-employer benefit plans, labor unions.
Achievements: Member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of CPAs, the Maryland Association of CPAs, and the AICPA Business Valuation and Forensic & Litigation Services section.
An experienced auditor of non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and unions, Michael also provides audit services for hotels, real estate entities, government contractors, homeowner associations, retail and wholesale companies, and research and scientific organizations. He has represented clients before the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service.
Michael has provided litigation services relating to business valuations, auditing standards and the computation of lost profits. He has been a guest speaker on the subjects of ERISA, taxation, auditing, and business valuations. |
