Michael Kopelman is a Vice President at Edison Venture Fund working on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in Pennsylvaniaand Delaware. Michael also follows companies in the Financial Services and E-Commerce sectors. He is active in regional venture, entrepreneurial and technology organizations and has extensive experience with both equity and debt financings. Michael began his career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston, advising clients on M&A and financing transactions. In 1999, Michael participated in the launch of E*OFFERING, the online investment bank of E*TRADE. Most recently, Michael was a Vice President in the investment banking group of Soundview Technology responsible for software, internet infrastructure and E-Commerce companies. Michael was Co-Chair of the 2004 Wharton Business Plan Competition and the 2005 Wharton Private Equity Conference. Mr. Kopelman received an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA Economics from the Universityof Pennsylvania. |
