He served as president of Data Junction Corporation for 15 years prior to its acquisition in December 2003 by Pervasive Software. As Pervasive’s chief technology officer, Hoskins champions Pervasive's technology direction and evangelizes the company's industry-leading low-TCO approach to data management and integration worldwide.Hoskins graduated summa cum laude in 1977 from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and has an extensive background in programming and systems development. In 1982 he formed SaudiSoft, a leading software company in the Middle East. He is a widely respected thought leader in the integration industry, has been published in a variety of publications, and speaks worldwide on software as a service, ROI in the integration space, the 'last mile of integration', open source databases, and other topics in data management and integration.
