Mr. Hirsch is the General Manager of the Gold Rush Hotel and Casino, Gold Digger’s Casino and Uncle Sam’s Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado and has been with Southwest since October 2004. Mike has 15 years of gaming experience in management, operations, strategic planning, and opening new casinos. Before joining Southwest, Mike was the Vice President and General Manager of the Isle of Capri Casino and Hotel in Blackhawk, Colorado for 8 years. He is an industry leader who, as President of the Blackhawk Gaming Association, implemented the first ever use of marketing funds to promote the 22-casino gaming town. He also led two different casinos to record-breaking results. Mike graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he majored in both Accounting and finance. |
