Michael Herskovitz is a member of the board and a corporate officer with over 30 years of experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductors, and global manufacturing. His expertise is applying Lean Six Sigma principles to the analysis and optimization of business processes, with special emphasis on the order-to-Ship workflow. Michael is particularly effective in helping complex and global organizations consolidate and align conflicting cross-functional business requirements into concise procedures, workflows, and enterprise information system specifications for CRM, ERP and PDM. Michael brings to Lightship clients significant experience in large-scale project planning and management, as well as the ability to coach an organization through complex projects pertaining to new product development, start-up of off shore operations, and implementation of enterprise information system solutions. Michael has a B.S Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania state University; a M.S in Engineering Management from Drexel University; significant credits towards an Executive Maters in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania/Wharton School of Business; and Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University. |
