Michael Heelan was appointed Associate Director of Abstracting Services when the Company established its Dublin, Ireland office in 1993. He manages the editorial and production operations of eight abstracting databases and one indexing database. He was appointed Director of Abstracting Services in 2003.
Mr. Heelan holds a B.A. degree in Politics and Economics from University College Dublin (UCD), and a Diploma in Library and Information Science also from UCD.
Mr. Heelan worked as a librarian in college and special libraries in Ireland. Prior to joining H.W. Wilson, he was a lecturer in Business Information Systems at the University of Northumbria, United Kingdom. |
