Michael is a veteran of the Direct Marketing arena, with 20 years of industry experience. Michael began his career at the New York Direct Marketing Association headquarters in 1987. Most recently, Michael held the position of Vice President of Sales in the brokerage division with the Millard Group. In this position, he was responsible for circulation planning, list test recommendations, segmentation refinement, and response analysis for many of Millard Group's major multi-titled publishing accounts. Michael has been extremely active in the Direct Marketing community for the duration of his career. In 1996 he received the "Ron Davis Young List Professional of The Year" award - presented by the DMA List and Database Council. Today, he sits on the Operating Committee of that Council and serves as editor of the council newsletter. Michael is also a frequent speaker at industry events including the Circulation Management Conference, List Vision Conference and DMA Young Professional Series - and has written for industry publications such as DM News and the DMA newsletter Spotlight.
