Michael Harte joined the Bank in April 2006 as Group Executive Technology. In this role Michael leads the development of the Bank’s Group technology function and the implementation of the Bank’s IT Strategy enterprise-wide.
Michael has a first class technology background gained through senior positions in some of the world’s leading financial services companies. He is regarded by the investment community internationally as a leader in open systems architecture investment management software and systems development.
Michael is actively engaged in business development and the transformation of business models. He also has significant experience in systems strategy consolidation integration and global systems deployment.
Prior to joining the Bank Michael was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for PNC Financial Services one of the world’s largest investment fund administrators.
During his terms with PNC and prior to that Citigroup teams led by Michael have been widely recognised winning awards with CIO Magazine Information Week and CIO Insight.
Michael was educated in New Zealand Europe and the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Diploma in Business. His post-graduate studies include Economics and a Master of Science in Systems with distinction from New York University.
He is currently also working with the Center for Information Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on open systems and competitive advantage.
Michael is married with three children. |
