Michael is currently serving as Vice President of Research & Development of InforMedix, Inc. Mr. Gavin has over 20 years of experience in new product development and clinical assessment. He is directly responsible for the creation, development, clinical testing, and manufacturing scale-up of numerous medical devices. These devices include in-vitro diagnostics devices, disposable medical devices; laboratory based clinical chemistry and hematology systems. Mr. Gavin has directly managed the design, development, clinical testing, and regulatory submissions for the first home use prothrombin time monitor to be approved by the FDA. He managed the modification of two portable diagnostic devices for use in double-blinded clinical trials. His responsibilities included the management of R&D, the clinical research, and clinical evaluations necessary to support both product design and clinical validations. Mr. Gavin graduated cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University. |
