Mr. Flynn, a principal of LECG and a senior member of the firm since 1989, is both a consulting and testifying expert economist, specializing in all aspects (including class certification, liability and damages) and phases (including fact discovery, expert discovery, dispositive motions and trial) of antitrust, intellectual property and other complex litigation engagements. As a testifying expert, he has been designated and qualified as an expert witness in a number of cases. As a consulting expert, Mr. Flynn has managed all phases of LECG’s retention in over thirty antitrust, intellectual property and other complex business litigation engagements. A former National Science Foundation Fellow, Mr. Flynn was enrolled in the Ph.D. program in economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology following his graduation from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Flynn taught economics at Wellesley College, the University of Massachusetts and Boston University, and served as a senior economist for Standard & Poors DRI and as director of economics for American President Companies, Ltd. |
