Michael Erickson joined Pinnacol Assurance in 1993 as vice president for human resources and corporate services. In this position, Erickson oversees the human resources, mail, print, facilities, and records functions at Pinnacol. Erickson’s previous experience includes a six-year stint as human resources manager for Knott’s Berry Farm, an amusement park in Buena Park, Calif. He also served as director of human resources for Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in California and Colorado. He has received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management and a Certificate of Personnel Management/Employee Relations from the University of California Irvine. In addition, Erickson holds both a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University Long Beach and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He’s an active member in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Colorado Human Resource Association (CHRA), and he serves as chair of the scholarship selection committee for the Pinnacol Foundation. Erickson is married, has one son, and lives in Highlands Ranch. His hobbies include restoring pinball machines, hunting, and golfing. |
