Michael El-Hillow served as a director since August of 2004 and was appointed to CFO on January 2nd, 2007. Mr. El-Hillow has been senior vice president and chief financial officer of Advanced Energy since November 2001. Prior to joining Advanced Energy, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer at Helix Technology Corporation, a major supplier of high-vacuum products principally to the semiconductor capital equipment industry, from 1997 until 2001. Prior to Helix, he was vice president, finance, treasurer, and chief financial officer at A.T. Cross Company and an audit partner at Ernst & Young. Mr. El-Hillow received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, an M.B.A. from Babson College in Babson Park, Massachusetts and is a certified public accountant.
