Michael Doland serves as Focus Management Group’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company. Mike has over twenty-five years experience in providing financial analysis, system reporting, and tax and MIS services both as a Certified Public Accountant and Controller for a variety of business entities. Michael’s direct industry experience encompasses wireless communications, construction, healthcare, public safety, food service, specialty manufacturing, government operations and the automotive sector. As Controller and Business Manager for a full service, multi-location dealership, Michael led productivity reporting system alterations, as well as implementing a flat rate and incentive billing program for direct labor, instituted labor and parts variance analysis. While working for a major public safety information systems provider, Michael spearheaded a new RFP process and instituted management controls to provide up-to-date wireless data communications and records management systems. Michael has a DFT (Demand Flow Technology) Certification, a scalable-based business strategy designed to allow manufacturers to respond more efficiently to the needs of their customers. Michael used his expertise to lead a specialty manufacturing company to a double digit increase in gross profits and increased working capital. He also developed a new computerized job costing system, stressing tact times and machine utilizations, for a plastic injection molding company. |
