Michael Cline is responsible for all financing and investing activities cash management bank relations rating agency relations and working closely with the enterprise's business units to identify quantify and manage the wide range of risks the company faces.
Mr. Cline has more than 20 years of corporate finance treasury and risk management experience and held positions of increasing responsibility at Caterpillar® Inc. Sara Lee Corporation Sprint® and Corning Inc. before joining GPE as Director Corporate Finance in 2001. He was promoted to Assistant Treasurer in 2002 and during 2004 temporarily re-assigned to lead GPE’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiative.
Mr. Cline earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance summa cum laude from Bradley University Peoria Ill. and an MBA from Illinois State University Normal-Bloomington Ill. He is a member of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers and a 10-year Member of the Association of Financial Professionals. |
