Michael Carmichael has over 20 years of experience in D/FW commercial real estate, specializing in project development and leasing, acquisitions and investment sales and tenant representation services. He has participated in lease transactions in excess of $35 million in the past five years.
Michael is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Advertising. He has held leadership positions at Vantage Companies, Kelly-Lundeen (now Henry S. Miller Commercial) and R&B Realty Group, which was acquired by Kennedy Wilson International.
At Kennedy-Wilson International, Michael successfully leased 4040 North Central Expressway, a 151,462 SF office building, raising occupancy from 0% to 90% in 14 months. He also leased Commerce Plaza Hillcrest, a 230,696 SF garden office complex for Aetna Life Insurance and UBS Realty Investors, increasing occupancy from 70% to 100% in 3 years and continued to maintain occupancy of 10 - 14% above the submarket average. Michael has been instrumental in the sale of 3 office buildings: Monfort Place (80,000 SF), Northpoint I and II (200,000 SF) and 8100 Lomo Alto Drive (40,000 SF).
Michael has received extensive recognition for his success in the commercial real estate industry including the Largest Deal Award, Pinnacle Award for Production and Top Producer of Kennedy-Wilson’s Southern Region. He is a CCIM Candidate and an active member of the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). |
