Prior to joining OVATION in 2001, Mike Burke spent nine years at Abbott Laboratories' Pharmaceutical Products Division. At Abbott, Mr. Burke served in various sales and marketing roles, managing specialty market and primary care product lines. As Director of the Neuroscience Business Unit at Abbott PPD, he managed the largest and most profitable specialty pharmaceutical product line: the Depakote® and Depakote® ER (divalproex sodium) family of products. Prior to his neuroscience experience, Mr. Burke was responsible for marketing strategy, promotion development, and sales force support for a leading infectious disease franchise, as well as a urology and cardiovascular product. Before joining Abbott, Mr. Burke was the founder and President of Athwell, a health promotion consulting service company. |
