Michael Aide, Associate Vice President of Real Estate, is responsible for business development for the range of AmREIT’s services including joint venture projects, property acquisitions, build-to-suit for single tenants, traditional retail development, brokerage and construction management.
Mr. Aide has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining AmREIT, he was the Director of Business Development in the Houston office of Workman Commercial, a construction management firm for commercial and public projects. Before his move to Houston, Mr. Aide was a construction project manager for large scale retail projects with Workman in Austin. He started his career with Robinson Sigma Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis), in Richmond, VA working in commercial leasing brokerage and property management.
Mr. Aide earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and is a graduate of the Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He holds Texas and Virginia real estate licenses, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.
