Michael joined NMC in mid-2001. He has strong relationships with institutional and private real estate investors in St. Louis and the mid-western United States. Michael has 10 years of commercial real estate experience, and spent 2.5 years in Des Moines, Iowa as an asset manager for the Principal Financial Group. Mike’s duties at Principal included the asset management of a Portfolio of 2.0 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties in Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Indianapolis. Michael returned to St. Louis in late 1996 to complete his JD/MBA at St. Louis University while he simultaneously worked for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, a large Mid-western commercial property management and brokerage firm. From 1997 until mid year 2001, Michael acted as an investment sale associate for Colliers where he listed and brokered the sale of a number of prominent St. Louis institutional office and industrial properties amounting to over $50 Million in sales volume and over 1 Million square feet transacted through his relationships. Michael was also part of an investment sale team at Colliers that transacted well over $200M in sales volume during the same period. In addition to his investment sale duties at Colliers, Michael represented a number of corporate clients in the lease-up and purchase of office, industrial, retail, land, and construction developments locally and in almost every state. He graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics. In 1999 and 2000, Michael graduated from St. Louis University with a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration. Michael is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and holds a Missouri Real Estate Brokers License. |
