Mr. Lenzmeier currently performs technical and proposal management services and contract project management services for large systems integrators and telecommunications organizations. Recent customers include AT&T, Raytheon, SAIC, Lockheed Martin, DynCorp, and a number of small businesses. With writing as a core skill, he works across the entire life-cycle of a technical writing or proposal management task, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing products with complex technical content. Examples of work include the following:
Volume manager and lead writer of a corps of 50 technical writers for the FTS2001 program. Reviewed and coordinated all data, rewrote and synthesized text, and verified the accuracy of information to prepare a 2,000+ page document that included operations, maintenance, and transition plans.
Performed requirements analysis and system design and prepared an implementation plan for a multi-site, dual (diverse) fiber optic wide area network, which included a variety of PBXs, routers, hubs, ATM switches, file servers, and peripheral equipment.
Reviewer for several technical proposals, evaluating the soundness and compliance of the system and telecommunications architecture and advising on rewriting strategies; rewrote text as needed to ensure architectural integrity and effective presentation.
Worked with teams of engineers and engineering managers to gather technical information and write/rewrite technical responses for large IT proposals to diverse government agencies.
Performed requirements analysis; developed WBS, dictionary, and BOE; developed skills analysis and matrix for 21 subcontractors; and developed implementation approach for a $1.2 billion dollar system integration program.
