Mike is a Member of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co LLP (KKR), a private equity firm with offices in New York, Menlo Park (California) London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Mike joined KKR in 1981 and became a general partner in 1987. He is located in the California office. Besides HCA, Mike is also a Director of Alliance Imaging Inc., Jazz Pharmaceuticals, and Accellent Inc. Mike graduated from Harvard College in 1973 and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1976.
He and his wife Ellen have two daughters and live in Atherton, California. He calls Springfield, Pennsylvania his hometown, and he cheers for the Philadelphia Eagles football team.
