W. Michael McGuire is Director, Office of the Corporate Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Senior Managing Counsel for Securities Law of The Dow Chemical Company, located in Midland, Michigan.
Mr. McGuire began his legal career in 1981 as an attorney with the law firm of Dykema, Gosset and joined Dow in Midland in 1983 as an attorney in the Financial Law Section. In 1986 he joined the Business Law Section and returned to Financial Law in 1988 as Antitrust counsel. In 1993 he took responsibility for Securities Law and Bankruptcy, as well as the role of lead counsel on several financial transactions. Mr. McGuire became Senior Managing Counsel, Securities Law, in July 2004. He was elected Assistant Corporate Secretary by the Board of Directors in July 2005.
Mr. McGuire is a board member of the Farwell (Michigan) State Savings Bank.
He holds Bachelor of Science, Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar. |
