Michael W. Jackman is President of the Healthcare Information Solutions business for Carestream Health, Inc., the independent company that resulted from the sale of Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group to Onex Corporation, Toronto, Canada, in May 2007.
Formerly, Jackman served Kodak's Health Group in essentially the same role, as General Manager, Healthcare Information Solutions, and in May 2005, Kodak's Board of Directors elected him a Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company.
Jackman joined Kodak in 2003 to lead global research and development operations for the Health Group.
Prior to joining Kodak, Jackman held top management positions at a network technology Internet start-up. He also specialized in technology development and strategy consulting for companies in the wireless, IP telephone, security and software infrastructure areas.
During a successful 18-year career at IBM, Jackman served in several senior management positions, including Vice President, Systems and Technology. In this capacity, he was responsible for integrated product solutions, technology strategy, strategic alliances, engineering services and intellectual property licensing strategy. He also led worldwide business operations for IBM's ThinkPad line and served as Technology Advisor to IBM's Chairman and CEO.
Jackman earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.B.A. from Nova University. |
