Mr. Dennen Has over 30 years experience in process development and has been granted numerous patents. He received his B.S. in Electrophysics from C.W. Post College. After working for four years in the Semiconductor Industry, he took further studies in Solid State Physics at the University of Colorado and participated in a number of corporate management training programs.
Upon graduation from C.W. Post, he joined General Instruments where he worked as a process development engineer on an N-channel metal gate processing line. He then took an engineering supervision position with American Microsystems where he headed the silicon gate device group and helped guide the start-up of a new 4" CMOS fabrication area.
In 1978 Mr. Dennen joined NCR in Colorado Springs, CO., where he led an R&D group in developing a high density CMOS processes and product lines to for advanced VLSI circuits. He later became Device Engineering Manager with Storage Technology Corporation in Louisville, CO., where he was a key member of a team responsible for the complete design, start-up, and debugging of a semiconductor fabrication facility.
In 1981 Mr. Dennen joined General Electric Co., Semiconductor Division in Research Triangle Park, NC. He was Manager of Process and Development Engineering and had overall program responsibility for operations as both a wafer foundry and as a source for GE products. He was responsible for managing the technology transfer and start-up of eleven advanced CMOS processes and for the development and ramp-up to full commercial production of the ASIC and Radiation Hardened product lines. |
