Mike Callaghan is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Cincinnati Bell Inc. He is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic planning, major alliances and partnerships.He reports directly to Jack Cassidy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell.
Mr. Callaghan joined Cincinnati Bell in 1999. Previously the vice president of corporate development for Convergys, Mr. Callaghan helped transform the customer contact division from an $80 million telemarketing company to a $1 billion customer service industry leader.
Prior to his work at Convergys, Mr. Callaghan worked for Ameritech as the corporate director of video and interactive services. In that role he was responsible for their entrance into the video and interactive services arena. Mr. Callaghan also spent 18 years at the E.W. Scripps Company holding management positions in the publishing, broadcasting and cable TV divisions. He served as president of Scripps Howard Cable Company from 1984 to 1991.
Mr. Callaghan earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
