Mike Bishop represents companies in all areas of labor and employment law, including union certification and decertification elections, contract negotiations, strikes, labor arbitrations, acquisitions with labor and employment law implications and labor relations training. He has successfully represented companies in over 150 union certification campaigns and has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts and before the National Labor Relations Board and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Mike has appeared before numerous employer associations and sponsors of continuing legal education where he was written and lectured on developments in labor and employment law. He is a certified specialist in Employment and Labor Law by the Supreme Court of South Carolina and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
He is a member of The Florida Bar, Labor and Employment Law Section, the South Carolina Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a former member of the South Carolina Supreme Court's Employment and Labor Law Specialization Advisory Board. Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Association Of Residential Care Homes, St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic and the Spartanburg Transportation Association.
