Michael's practice is primarily focused in the areas of corporate transactions and counseling, entity formation, joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial transactions, securities offerings, public company governance and reporting, executive employment matters, and real estate transactions.
In addition to his corporate practice, Michael works frequently with the Firm’s Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department on intellectual property transactional matters, including the negotiation and preparation of IP licensing, transfers, joint development and implementation agreements.
Michael advises clients in a variety of industries, including high-tech, e-commerce, wireless telecommunications, agricultural chemical, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, bio-technology and non-profit organizations. His practice also involves numerous international transactions.
Michael was a law clerk to Honorable Linda H. McLaughlin, United States District Court, Central District of California.
