Michael T. Reilly, an associate with the firm, works primarily in litigation on cooperative and condominium and real estate matters. Michael has experience representing sponsors and property managers as transfer agent for cooperative closings. He has advised condominium boards in the resolution of disputes involving units’ owners, sponsors and contractors. Michael has defended condominium and cooperative boards in litigation on the issue of directors’ and officers’ liability. He is skilled in negotiating contracts of sale for multi-family, condominium and cooperative apartment units. He consults cooperative boards regarding governance and landlord/tenant matters.
Michael has negotiated multi-million dollar commercial and residential mortgages and refinances. Michael has also drafted financing and leasing agreements. In addition, he represents clients before regulatory agencies involving rent regulation, loft status and building violations. He advises his real estate clients with zoning, building code and construction issues. Michael works out of the firm’s New York City office. |
