Michael Horvath leads Strategic Alliances at StratBridge, managing relationships with partners, channels, and large customers. Prof. Horvath also sits on the Board of StratBridge. Prof. Horvath brings extensive entrepreneurial experience to StratBridge. Prior to StratBridge, Prof. Horvath was chief financial officer and vice president of operations at GlycoFi, Inc., a venture-backed biotechnology company. Prior to GlycoFi, Prof. Horvath was an associate professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Research Director of the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth. At Tuck, Prof. Horvath was engaged in the study of the effects of venture capital, entrepreneurship, and innovation and taught electives on high-tech entrepreneurship and venture capital. Before joing the faculty at Dartmouth, Prof. Horvath founded Kana Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: KANA), a leading provider of web-architected enterprise relationship management solutions. He served as Kana s CFO and VP of Operations from 1996-1998 and as a special consultant to the company from 1998-2000. Previous to Kana, Prof. Horvath was on the faculty at Stanford University, where he taught macroeconomics. Prof. Horvath received a PhD in economics from Northwestern University, and a BA in economics from Harvard University. |
