As chief executive officer, Michael Hoey is responsible for all aspects of Intellisophic's strategic direction, executive leadership, day-to-day operations and finance. Mike brings more than fourteen years of domestic and international experience in high technology software development and deployment. Along with George Burch and Henry Kon, Mike founded Intellisophic based on the patented Orthogonal Corpus Indexing technology and a dedicated vision of leveraging existing published knowledge to bring order into the chaos of unstructured data in knowledge management. Before joining the Intellisophic, Mike was chief technical officer and vice president of research and development at Liquent (formerly ESPS, Inc.), a leading software developer for regulated industries. Through Mike’s leadership, Liquent grew from start-up to the unquestioned standard in the field of regulatory assembly and publishing software. Prior to Liquent, Mike served in the Advanced Technologies Group of the Life Sciences practice at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Michael Hoey obtained Masters and Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University with a focus in Artificial Intelligence and Parallel Architectures. |
