Michael advises investment banks and hedge funds on legal issues related to the purchase and sale of loans, including bank debt, notes, trade claims and accounts receivable, and securities of distressed and bankrupt companies located in North America, Latin America and Europe. Michael also represents financial institutions in the origination of commercial real estate conduit loans secured by apartment complexes, retail complexes, office buildings, hotels, and storage facilities. Michael also advises clients on legal issues related to the trading of interests in distressed loans secured by airplanes and real estate.
