Mike grew up in the Franklin County village of Conway. Prior to law school, he pursued his interest in theological ethics, assisting professors deliver undergraduate lectures at Arizona State as part of a Master's program. While in law school Mike was a member of Suffolk's Moot Court Honor Board and a Note Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy. His work is also published in that journal. Desiring to return to Western Massachusetts, Mike joined the firm directly from law school. His practice areas include general corporate law, real estate and zoning, taxation, and trusts and estates work. An avid sportsman, Mike is an active member of local, national and international sporting and conservation organizations. He has recently begun to donate his time to the Highland Communities Initiative, a natural and cultural conservation group that benefits hill towns in Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, and Berkshire Counties.
