Mike is a partner in the business law department and is chair of the tax section and estates planning and administration section. He works primarily with executives and their companies on estate planning and succession planning in addition to a broad range of issues for entrepreneurial and middle market businesses. Many of those clients are active in the international markets.

Advises executives and their families on estate planning and business succession issues.
Counsels on tax efficient strategies for implementing planning structures.
Advises clients on corporate governance and shareholder dispute issues.
Represents, as primary outside corporate counsel, businesses in a wide variety of industries.
Advises international companies on U.S. operations.
Represents clients in contract negotiations, including sales and service agreements, distribution arrangements, joint venture agreements, and supply and procurement contracts.
