Description of Practice:
Michael S. Greger is a partner in the firm's Orange County office. His practice concentrates on bankruptcy and creditors' rights law and associated litigation. He has represented secured creditors in virtually all aspects of bankruptcy and state court litigation, including judicial and nonjudicial foreclosures, receiverships, in- and out-of-court workouts, cramdown and relief from stay litigation, and lender liability trials. In addition, he has represented debtors in possession, trustees, examiners and creditor committee's in a wide variety of bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Greger is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Orange County Bar Associations, the Los Angeles and Orange County Bankruptcy Forums, the California Receivers Forum, the Financial Lawyers Conference and the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1991 and is admitted to practice in the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Central Districts of California as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Educational History:
Mr. Greger received his B.A. from California State University Fullerton in 1988. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law in 1991. |
