Michael S. Friedman is an Associate in the Employment Law Department where he concentrates his practice in the representation of both employers and employees. Mr. Friedman's practice involves workplace issues relating to federal and state discrimination laws (age, race, sex, national origin, disability and religion) as well as issues involving employment contracts and separation agreements. Mr. Friedman also has significant experience representing clients in proceedings at the state and federal agency levels as well as in unemployment compensation hearings. Mr. Friedman's extended practice also includes the representation of professional athletes in all major sports. Prior to joining Spector Gadon & Rosen, he was the president of a full service sports management and marketing firm which represented professional athletes and coaches in all facets of management, negotiating playing contracts and procuring endorsement opportunities for clients in football, basketball and baseball. Mr. Friedman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He received his B.A. in history from Franklin and Marshall College and his J.D., from the Villanova University School of Law. |
