Michael S. Faber is an associate of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group. He concentrates his practice in representing employers and their insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases and has litigated hundreds of workers’ compensation claims at the trial and appellate levels. He has also counseled clients on methods to control, manage, and avoid workers’ compensation claims. He is an active member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and is serving a two-year term as a Section Chair. He has also spoken as an expert on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation issues at numerous conferences and Continuing Legal Education Seminars. In addition, Mr. Faber has extensive experience in handling complex civil claims, including medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases. He has also represented employers and workers’ compensation insurance carriers in the context of civil claims, protecting their right to Subrogation under the Workers’ Compensation Act. Mr. Faber graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He joined Dickie McCamey after receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. Mr. Faber was recognized by Philadelphia magazine as being one of the "Top Young Attorneys in Pennsylvania" for 2007. |
