Michael S. Bahorich, 50, was appointed executive vice president exploration and production technology in May 2000, having been the Company’s vice president exploration and production technology since January 1999, vice president exploration technology since December 1997, and the Company’s chief geophysicist since 1996.
From 1981 until joining the Company, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Amoco Corporation in Denver, Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, he received his master’s degree in geophysics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI). Mr. Bahorich is a member of the board of trustees of the Houston Museum of Natural Science and serves on advisory boards at Stanford and Yale Universities. He holds six patents. |
