Mike is a partner in the real estate department. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate development. Mike regularly negotiates and prepares a wide variety of office, industrial, and major retail tenant leases. In addition, he handles zoning and land use matters before local governmental officials.
Representative Matters
Representation of a multi-state hotel developer in the acquisition, development and disposition of hotel properties, including the preparation of joint venture agreements and the negotiation of financing documents.
Represented owner/developer in the negotiation of site development and restrictive easement agreements with 170,000 square foot retailer, lease agreements with anchor retailers, and outparcel sales within a 100-acre multi-use development.
Represented developer/ground lessee in the development of a residential leasehold condominium project within a community of commercial and governmental research facilities located on a state university campus.
Represents a national real estate investment trust on matters involving retail centers throughout the southeastern United States.
Represented developers in successful rezoning cases involving a 179-acre mixed-use development, including retail, office, residential and hotel uses, and a mixed-use in-fill development located on eleven acres.
Represented owner in connection with the sale of a 550,000 square foot regional shopping mall.
