Mr. Orlowski is responsible for overseeing the company's bids and proposals analysis used to determine resource allocation and business investment. He oversees the review and evaluation of bids and proposals, capital requirements and advance funding requests from the L-3 divisions, and due diligence related to the company's acquisition strategy. As the primary liaison between the L-3 divisions and corporate senior management, Mr. Orlowski tracks divisional and overall corporate performance and status.
Mr. Orlowski has extensive experience in business planning, acquisition due diligence, budgeting and government procurement in both the defense industry and in the U.S. Government. He began his career as a staff auditor for the U.S. Government Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Mr. Orlowski also held senior-level business planning positions at technology and defense companies such as ITT, GEC Marconi, Loral Corporation and Lockheed Martin, before joining L-3 as senior director of business review in 1997. |
