Mr. Johns joined Arkansas Best in April 2007 as Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, he had a twenty-four year career as a practicing attorney in Arkansas. Mr. Johns came to Arkansas Best from the law firm of Dover Dixon Horne PLLC in Little Rock, AR where he was a partner of the firm beginning in 1991. Mr. Johns began his legal career in 1983 after earning a J.D. from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Johns holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas, and he is a certified public accountant. He has been a member of the State Bar of Arkansas since 1983. His professional affiliations include membership in the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. From 2000 through 2001, he served as the chair of the Commercial Law Section of the Arkansas Bar Association. |
