Michael Folio, former Senior Vice President of Real Estate for The Home Depot, founded Corporate Property Dispositions in 2003 to provide best in class services for sales, leasing, lease restructuring, terminations, and barter exchange deal for select Corporate Clients throughout North America. CPD currently has exclusive property representation in excess of $220 million of disposition assets. Prior to Michael's retirement from The Home Depot, he served as both Vice President and Senior Vice President of Real Estate. Since 1990, Michael had been instrumental in Home Depot's development program of over 1,600 new stores in his 13 year tenure with the company. Mike was responsible for all facets of Home Depot's real estate program including strategic market planning, site selection, governmental approval, excess properties and the overall development process for approximately 200 stores annually. Prior to Home Depot, Mike was Partner and Vice President in the Real Estate Development firm of Lewis Property Investors, Inc., based in Tampa, Florida. Mike was involved in the acquisition, syndication, development, and leasing of income producing commercial real estate for LPI which developed over 15 shopping centers and office buildings throughout Florida and the Southeast from 1984-1990. During his 23 year career, Michael also held positions as Assistant Vice President for First Capital Financial Corporation, Coral Gable, Florida, responsible for the origination and underwriting of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures for public limited partnerships. Mike also served as Director of Real Estate for Grand Union Supermarkets New York region. Mike received his Bachelor Degree in Economics and Urban Planning from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he concentrated in Real Estate Law and Finance. Mike has been a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker since 1984, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. |
