Michael specializes in estate planning and estate and trust administration. His practice focuses on federal estate, gift and generation-skipping tax planning, business succession planning, and the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trust agreements, antenuptial agreements, family limited partnerships and related instruments. Michael's practice also involves the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in proceedings before the Hennepin and Ramsey County Probate Courts.In addition, Michael maintains a substantial pro bono practice. Michael has assisted a non-profit organization in an income tax audit, has represented beneficiaries in contested estate and trust matters, and has prepared wills, health care directives, and powers of attorney for numerous members of the minority community as a part of the program 'Where There's A Will, There's A Way,' which he helped organize and manage.Michael is married and has two daughters.
