Michael P. Kaelin joined Cummings & Lockwood as a principal in the Litigation Group resident in the Stamford office. He has extensive experience litigating commercial, employment, employee benefits, probate, trusts and estates, and investment matters, including wrongful discharge and discrimination claims, will contests, fiduciary litigation and securities arbitration; and has represented individuals, fiduciaries, closely held businesses and major corporations. Prior to joining the Firm, Mike was a partner in Gregory and Adams, P.C., and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Mike received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Duke University in 1981, and received his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law in 1984. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Connecticut and New York, as well as in other federal trial and appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Mike is an active member of the American Inns of Court's Fairfield County Chapter where he serves as Vice President. He is also a member of the Compliance and Legal Division of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. |
