Mr. Flaherty was appointed executive vice president, general counsel and chief administrative officer (CAO) in January 2001. Prior to joining the company, Flaherty was of counsel in the law firm of O’Donnell & Shaeffer, LLC and principal shareholder and CEO of First Continental Group, Inc. Flaherty has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation, serving as lead trial counsel for major corporations. He has also served as general counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs and counsel to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Additionally, Mr. Flaherty is the past chairman of the Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association’s Banking Law Committee. |
