Mr. Hardison has practiced law for more than 25 years with particular emphasis on complex cases that require attention to detail and innovative thinking. His experience includes commercial, aviation, maritime and international litigation and arbitration where he has represented U.S. and foreign companies as well as foreign governments. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maritime Law Association of the United States and the New York County Lawyers Association. Mr. Hardison is a member of the New York Bar (1980) and is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts (1980), the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (1981) and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second Circuit (1982) and Fifth Circuit (1985). He attended George Washington University (B.A., International Affairs, with distinction, 1976; Phi Beta Kappa; Phi Alpha Theta; and winner of John Henry Cowles Award) and George Washington University Law School (J.D. 1979; Editor, Journal of International Law and Economics). Mr. Hardison is the co-author of Rule B(1): The Easy, Fast and Inexpensive Way To Obtain Security In The United States For Maritime Claims, The International Journal of Shipping Law, 144-149 (1997). He lived abroad for many years in the Philippines, Syria and Lebanon (1961-1969) and served in the United States Marine Corps (1970-1973). |
